Scottish Open Golf - Castle Stuart Golf Links-7/10th July 2011

Carve Carrbridge - Saturday 3rd September 2011
This is a fun day out for all the family. Carvers come from around the world to show off their skills at this prestigious event. The carvings are auctioned off at the end of the day after the judging and the winners have been announced.
As well as the carving there is live music, fun filled activities and games, stalls and food and drink tents.

Baxters Loch Ness Marathon - Saturday 1st October 2011
Fairwinds Hotel and Chalets are 25 miles from Inverness and this area offers a huge range of activities to complement this event. This marathon runs the length of Loch Ness surrounded by the most spectacular scenery. Guests who have taken part in it have been very impressed
Alison ran the River Ness 10K in 2010 and said it was one of the best organised events she had taken part in and she liked the course.
The River Ness 10k, a Corporate Challenge 10K, River Ness 5K and a Wee Nessie for the under 5’s are also available on the day so there is a level for all the family to join in.
