Car parking
Free, off-road, lit car parking for up to 9 cars
Will I be able to have dinner at the last minute
This cannot be gaurenteed. If you want to ensure you will
have a dinner reservation then you should book it when booking
your room.
Car hire
We can advise on car hire from Inverness city, Inverness airport and Aviemore - contact us.
Laundry
We provide a same day in-house laundry service (excludes dry cleaning).
Smoking
The hotel is completely non-smoking.
Currency and credit cards accepted
We accept £ sterling and we will accept Euros, travellers cheques (us$, sterling and Euros) at the relevant exchange rate and all foreign currency transactions will be subject to a handling charge. Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Switch, Maestro, Solo, Electron, JCB. All UK cheques require to be accompanied by a valid bank card.
Medical and dental
24 local doctor/medical service available nearby. Dentist within 5 miles.
Pets
Dogs are not permitted in Fairwinds Hotel (except for a guide dogs) who are allowed in our Studio room. Bedding must be supplied.
Dogs are welcome in some of our chalets. Bedding must be supplied.
Disabled
Accessible front door. Easy access to bar and public rooms, but all bedrooms are on the first floor.
Special diets
We cater for just about any special diets, but advance notice is essential. Vegetarian options are available at all times in our restaurant.
Children and families
We do not have family rooms in the hotel. Our larger rooms can take a cot or a Z bed. There is a one off charge of £20 for setting up the bed.
A nominal charge will be made for food consumed.
High chairs are available. We do not have baby listening facilities.
Packed and picnic meals
Packed lunches are available - must be ordered by 20.00 the previous evening.
What is and is not included in price
All quoted prices are inclusive of VAT at the ruling rate. There is no service charge. Gratuities are at the customers' discretion.
Check in and out
Earliest check in 14.00, or earlier by prior arrangement.
Latest check out - 10.30 or later by prior arrangement only where possible.

How to get there
From both the south and north take the main A9 road, following the signs for Carrbridge. Coming south from Inverness take the junction for the A938 (signposted for Carrbridge) - Coming north take the A95 and follow for a few miles then take the B9153 to Carrbridge. The entrance to Fairwinds Hotel is opposite the entrance to the main car park in the centre of the village. Our drive goes up beside the village hall.

Can be stored in our safe at reception.
Communications - email, fax, modem
All rooms have phone line jacks to plug laptops into. You can send and receive faxes at a small charge. All rooms have direct dial telephone. Internet access and email facilities are also available from our office.
Special occasions
Iif you're celebrating one during your stay....we can make it memorable.... Champagne, chocolates, flowers, roses - just let us know and we will arrange it for you.
